Languages are rarely easy to pick up and are even harder when your heart isn’t into it. Although it’s been years since I’ve spoken or even read French, I was tickled that I understood what you’d written before you had translated it for the non-French speaking audience. Thanks for reminding me that, although there may be a little rust, I still retain that part of my high school.
I can totally understand why you failed Espanol, “Riptide” was quite possibly the most underrated TV show of the 80s. Didn’t they live on a boat? And didn’t the “nerdy one” build a robot or something? OK, maybe it wasn’t that cool. . .
